Razor MX350 Dirt Rocket Electric Motocross Bike
Razor MX350 dirt rocket electric motocross bike: the Mx350 is a child friendly scaled down version of a motocross bike.
If your kids are like mine they won’t be easily fooled by cheap imitations and this isn’t one of them it actually looks like a genuine dirt bike.
Who is the Razor MX350 suitable for?
This miniature Moto-Cross bike would be a perfect entry level bike for a pre-teen who has an interest in dirt biking or Moto Cross without the high price tag.
The manufacturers say that this dirt bike is designed for ages 12 years and up but from all the hundreds of reviews we have read online this doesn’t seem to be the case.
From our findings we would describe the MX350 as being suitable for Children between 5 to 11 years old.
This would obviously depend on the individual child of course, taking into account co-ordination and balance skills.
The Bike can carry a rider of up to 150lbs so this would need to be taken into account as well.
If you are looking at buying a scaled down dirt bike for an older child we would recommend looking at the Razor MX500.
Is the Razor MX350 Safe?
Without a doubt any child riding one of these should be kitted out with a good quality helmet, gloves and ideally some protective clothing as well.
The MX350 can reach speeds of up to 12 miles per hour so your child will need protection.
This bike is designed for off road use, so we are talking grass or dirt tracks, we would suggest keeping away from roads and pedestrian areas not only because of the dangers but also you might find you are breaking the law in your area.
So yes pretty safe if common sense is adhered too and it is also a good primer before going on to bigger and faster bikes.
Features of the Razor MX350 Dirt Rocket Electric Motocross Bike
This is a battery powered electric dirt bike, so runs silently rather than making all the noise a gas powered bike would.
The battery life will vary depending on what the child is doing with the bike and the terrain it is being used on, from the reviews we have read you are looking at anywhere between 45 minutes to 4hrs.
It takes about 8hrs to fully charge the battery, best done overnight.
Easy To Ride
This is a single speed bike with a simple twist grip throttle control and is fairly low to the ground so ideal for younger riders.
If the child can ride a bicycle they should have no problem with the Razor MX350
Looks the Part
This really does look just like the real thing, the frame is just like an adult Moto Cross bike and it also comes with 10 inch pneumatic knobby tires.
It takes around 20 minutes to put together mainly just fitting the handlebars and number plate to the bike.
It also comes with a retractable kickstand.

What Reviewers are saying they don’t like about the Razor MX350
The main issue that some users are experiencing is that the chain seems to come off fairly easily; this isn’t happening to all users just a few.
We suspect it is because the bikes are being used on particularly bumpy terrain, ideally the bike should be used on short grass or dirt and gravel paths.
The chain is pretty easy to fix back on and a child can easily learn how to do this themselves.
Some users mentioned the decals that came with the bike didn’t stay on for long but really in our opinion this is a minor issue.
There is also no suspension on the bike, if the rider does hit a bump they will feel it.
In a way this could be a good thing as it will teach the child to slow down on uneven terrain.

Razor mx350 dirt rocket electric motocross bike: This is the ideal starter bike at a low barrier entry price, I can’t see any child with an interest in Motor Bikes, Dirt Biking or Moto Cross not being delighted with the Razor MX350 electric moto cross bike.
